  1. Throughout my lifetime, I’ve came across many various types of cuisines from different cultures. Although they were all unique in taste, none could stray me from my favorite dish which is oxtail. Oxtail is a big part of my culture, so naturally I’m drawn to it. If prepared and cooked correctly, I’m sure everyone would enjoy it. Conversely many people might disagree with me, because of their own cultures and taste. My scariest experience from a trek into the woods would have to be my middle school field trip to Bear Mountain. For some reason the faculty waited until dusk to decide to take a hike through the woods. After about fifteen minutes into the hike we heard something running in the bushes. It was at that point, that we decided to turn back and head towards the camping grounds. Even though we had a map of the vicinity, visibility became a setback. After walking adrift for about forty minutes, we were finally rescued by the park rangers. Walking around in dark might not seem all that scary, but it was enough to make it my last experience out in the woods after the sun sets.

  2. One summer many years ago we took a vacation to Costa Rica. My mother was born there and we were visiting family. They live in the country so it was not very modernized. There are a few houses on large plots of land. Each house owned by a different family member. One night we stayed up watching movies until it was pitch black outside. Then we had to walk back to the house we were staying in. There are no street lights or even light coming from buildings! There was only dim light coming from the other houses. So we walked in the darkness and as we walked all we heard all around us was grass and leaves rustling. We had no idea what they were because we couldn't see anything! We didn't know if there were snakes or what could've been in the grass. I don't think I ever ran so fast. When we finally got to the house and told eveyone what happened, they laughed and said that it was only little frogs and lizzards! Needless to say, I didn't stay out late for the rest of the vacation after that!

  3. For me it happened when I was 8 years old, I was in Ireland visiting my cousins and my cousin John and myself went off in to the woods that were at the edge of my Grandmothers' farm. We were having a great time being explores we spent so many hours that day searching and playing around the woods that before we knew it, it was hours later and we were lost. As I began to panic and get frightened that I would never see my mother and father again my cousin realized where we were and he began to guide us out of the woods, and in to a patch of land with cows and a bull on it. Now if there was one thing I knew it was that Bulls don't like the color red (I'm a redhead) and just as i saw the Bull, my father saw me and called my name. My cousin and I were in trouble, and my mom and dad were happy we were back.

  4. Well to be perfectly honest i never really go into the woods but, the last time i did it was to meet up with some friends on the other side. It was very warm that day almost hot and my friends and I were walking in the woods. As time went by we started joking around and ended up getting a little lost. Then it stared to get dark outside not to much but enough. I didn't feel scared or worried though, maybe because i was with other people but, it ended up being a fun experience. Eventually we did make it to the other side to meet up with our friends and everything was cool.

  5. I grew up playing in the Van Courtlandt park woods, it was a big part of my childhood. so many great memories from playing man hunt to building forts with my friends, One scary memory I have is one night we were having a fire and and just hanging out and talking when we heard drumming, we thought there were devil worhipers near by and we all ran out

  6. It is interesting for me to read English poem, for I’ve never read English poem before. It sounds like lyrics of rap music to me because of poem’s rhyme. Before reading this poem, I thought that the worst things parents can do are spanking, negligence, and abusing. I pondered over it after reading this poem, and I could figure out that the worst thing parents can do is to have a baby who they don’t want. Man, who is after physical pleasure through sex, become a mother and father who he or she don’t want to be. Because they didn’t want babies, they never showed their children affection. As a result, it can cause to spank, neglect, and abuse their children physically and mentally, for parents don’t have any affection and think that their children is in his pocket. There is not the end of it. Their children will follow what their parents did. This problem will be continued to the third and fourth generation and more with the same way.

  7. One hottest summer day, 2008, my friend and I took a trip to Dam yang County of the South Jeolla Province, South Korea. I’ve heard about that bamboo grooves are fantastic in Dam yang, so I really hoped I’d travel to Dam Yang. As soon as I arrived there, I walked through the bamboo forest, and felt the breeze sweep away worries of the heart. The path that meanders through the bamboo trees is too breathtaking to enjoy alone. It inspired to share the experience with a loved one, not a boy friend. I could immerse myself in the forest, slowly breathing in the fresh air. Also visible is an avenue lined with metasequoia trees, which ranks among the top 100 most beautiful roads or avenues in Korea. I was likely to be in one scene of movie. I could taste the aromatic bamboo-perfumed tea. A cup of fragrant tea completes the meditative experience of taking in the sounds of bamboo leaves bristling in the breeze and the warmth of the sunshine penetrating the forest, so I blew away stress and worries by walking miles, becoming intoxicated by the scent of bamboos. This experience made me have a good image of forest and woods.

  8. I have never walked through the woods but I remember a couple years ago coming from night classes and walking home and having to pass by the woods because my friend who i would normally get a lift from had left me. I remember feeling terrified that at any minute a wild animal would come out of the woods and attack me. This was a horrifying experience and after that i made sure i was not in a situation where i would have to walk pass the woods ever again.

Still to this day, I can almost taste the aromatic bamboo-perfumed air, hear the bamboo leaves bristling in the breeze, and feel the warmth of the sunshine penetrating the forest. This is still a very special place in my memory.

well, I've never been deep in any woods, but my best experience in something like the woods is in the park when the seasons are changing. I love to see the different colors. Especially in the fall when the trees are changing and the spring when the flowers are blooming. I also love when it snows over night. I enjoy going to the parks right before the sun rises and the park is full of fresh snow. I think it's so beautiful.

We'll I have never been into the woods, except when i went into Van Courtland park to go running through the trails with my father. I am not a person who likes to go camping, nor do i go roaming through woods. I was never able to because I lived in a desert most of my life. Arizona does not have woods. Although I think at some point in my life I would like to go into the woods or camping. It probably is a nice relaxing time out in the woods, when there is no animals around though.

When I was a child I used to go hunting into the woods with friends. Our favorite place was a wooded region where mangoes trees were dominant, located at 3 kilometers from my house in Port-au-Prince.
One day, while it was the mangoes season,we decided to go hunting and to take advantage to savour some delicious mangoes.when we arrived on the site we were spontaneously attracted by the color and flavor of the fruits and forgot about our first goal which was hunting.while we were picking and eating mangoes a loud cry was heard accompanied by a lot of stones thrown into our direction. We were panicked and ran without knowing where we went. Finally,we met at my house 2 hours later, scary but happy of being safe.
