  1. If i won the lottery I would do several things. Of course I would make sure my mom and daughter were well taken care of. I would set up a college fund for my daughter as well as a trust fund. I would take 15% and divide it up amongst my family. I would continue to work but only part time. Then I would invest 35% of it for my retirement and just live comfortably with the rest.

  2. There are a lot of things that I would do with my winnings if I were to win the lottery. First I would make sure my parents and my siblings were well taken care of. My second objective would be to pay back to my community and my home country. Lastly, I would invest in small businesses so that I can contribute to restoring the economy, and help with funding for rehabilitation for our troops.

If I won the New York Lottery, I would help my family and friends recover from the devastating earthquake which struck my country recently. I would also take advantage of my lottery winnings to realize my dream of building a modern maternity hospital aimed at promoting women's health care in Haiti, since Haiti has a higher rate of maternal mortality in the western hemisphere. I would give my wife her dream house, and take her on vacations more often because she loves to travel.

  4. If I won the lottery, I would rent a mansion in some tropical area and fly my friends and family out to celebrate. I would then make a few business investments and pay off my house. It really depends on how much money I won. It would be nice to live off the interest alone without touching the money. If it was a substantial amount, I would probably quit my job and travel the world with my husband. I would like to visit third world countries also and share some of my new found wealth. Maybe someday......

  5. If I won the lottery, I wouldn't be as foolish; I will invest some of it. Because a majority of my family lives in Jamaica, I will build a house there, so I can go down there when ever. Then I will put half of my money away. I wouldn't want to spend all of it. Also, since I'm a fan of humanitarian work, I will love to donate to children charities. What better way is there to invest your money?

  6. If I was to hit the lottery (hopefully a substantial amount) I would buy my mother a house where ever she wants. I would then buy my own for my son and I. I would pay off my debt. I would not work so this way I can go to school full time and do a lot of volunteer work. I would especially love to work with children who have terminal illnesses. I would also travel all over the world with my son. Especially third world countries so he can be well rounded and learn to be grateful for what he has. I probably wouldn't live in the states. May New Zealand. I would love to adopt children and some more of my own (homebirthed). Since it is so hard to have them in these hard financial times.

  7. For this hypothetical situation, I am going to imagine that I had won a $100 million. There are countless things that I would want to do with this money. However, the first thing I would do is take care of my family and payoff all debts that my family has. I would gift a hefty sum to my parents and my sister to help them enjoy a more comfortable life. After helping my family, I would place money in investments to ensure that I would always have money. The ideal situation would be to live off the interest my investments bring in, but I would have to talk to several financial planners and advisors to determine what I wanted to do. Among the first things I would buy are a home and cars. I love exotic sports cars and would like to have a few in the garage of my new home. Aside from that, and assuming that my investments give me money to live off of, I would travel the world and try to learn and absorb as much of every culture out there.

  8. If I won the lottery there are numerous things that I would do but most importantly I would go back to my home country in Jamaica and build a huge mansion for me and my family. I have always wanted to own the nicest restaurant there is so I would invest in one and it would give me great pleasure in helping the less fortunate.

  9. If i won, I would change my daughters life for the better. There would be so many struggles they would never know of. I would ensure they get the best education and the best of chances with everything they encounter. The second thing i would do is change a stranger life, just stop and pick a total stranger and give them 100,000 dollars. Then i would invest a big amount of it, maybe purchase some apartment buildings or buy a business or start a business, open a bar, something that would create residual income so i would never really run out.

  10. If I won the lottery , I would give 15% of my money away to St. Jude Childrens hospital. I always think whenever you recieve money you should give away to the need. I would also put money away for my daughter to go to college and also put money into a cd, so that she could live comfortable for herself. I would also give money to my parents and thank them for everything they have done for me. I I would also let my dad and i would open a business for kids to have an outlet in sports. I have always loved sports my whole life and i think that new york city should have better facitilies. I would want a house here in new york city and in florida because i need to have warm weather at all times. and i would also save a lot of it and put it into a interest to make more money off of what i already have.

  11. If I won the lottery, with a reasonable amount, I would definitely buy a house for my family to change the standard of our living that we had for about my whole life. The second thing I would do is save it. A lot of people goes ahead and quits their job, but not me, I would continue to do what I was doing until I feel comfortable enough to stop. Money is liquid and if you based your living on an "x" amount of money, what are you going to do when it finishes? With the extra amount of money, I could do whatever I please, since I'm still going to be working.

If i won the lotto the first thing i would do would be to invest a safe amount in to some savings plan, next i would like to start my own business and at the moment i was unable to do so i would keep working and saving money and probably not really tell anyone... go on with my life and try to not lose control of my finances and make good decisions with the money...nothing crazy... i'm boring

  13. If I won the new york lottery the first thing I would do is move and buy a house for my mother. Then I would give money to my sister so she could go to Sarah Lawrence. After i would buy a car and pay for my own education. The next thing I would do is give some money away to charity. Then just save the rest of the money for my kids.
